Origin unknown, possibly inspired by the Dan Kran people of Côte d'Ivoire — a wooden mask with exaggerated features. The forehead is dome-shaped above the eye holes, but due to the multiple perforations and horns on the face, it could also be associated with the Grebu Ku people.
